Biography

Charles Agius recieved musical tuition from the age of five, and gained a scholarship in 1970 to study at the Royal Trinity College of Music, London.

During his stay in England, he performed with various musicians in numerous clubs, restaurnts and London hotels, including the Dorchester Hotel and Cumberland Hotel.

After graduating with honours in 1973, Charles toured Europe and spent a season performing at the Malta Hilton.

Since returning to Australia in 1974, Charles has devoted most of his time establishing what has become a highly successful music career.

His credits include performances at the Sydney Opera House, the Conservatorium of Music (Sydney), and other numerous locations across the Sydney CBD. He has also made television appearances on national channels Channel Seven and the ABC, done recordings, performed on radio, and has done a season on the P&O Lines Oriana Cruise Ship.

Other appearances include numerous city and metropolitan restaurants, clubs, and private shows.

In 2001 he had toured Europe again where he performed in England, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, and Malta.

On his return back to Australia at the end of 2001, he has been the special guest with a tribute show known as "Legends of the Past", playing the part of "Billy Joel", as well as solo performances.

Charles' various styles range from Latin American to Blues, Jazz to Classical and an infinite variety of Rock, Contemporary and Modern music.
